Why Integrative Medicine?

Unlike conventional medicine, which typically addresses symptoms alone, Integrative Medicine seeks to understand why you feel unwell in the first place. By identifying imbalances in your body and mind, we can restore optimal function and wellness.

Conditions We Treat:

We specialize in treating chronic health conditions, such as:

  • Hormonal imbalances (e.g., menopause, low testosterone, PCOS)
  • Autoimmune diseases (e.g., Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn’s disease)
  • Digestive issues (e.g., IBS, constipation, food sensitivities)
  • Metabolic concerns (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity)
  • Pain management (e.g., back pain, fibromyalgia)
  • Mental health (e.g., anxiety, depression)
  • Fatigue and chronic malaise

By addressing the root causes, we provide long-term relief from chronic illnesses that have previously been challenging to manage.

Our Approach to Wellness

We use a systems-based approach to identify and treat the underlying causes of illness. This may involve testing for:

  • Nutritional imbalances (vitamins, fatty acids, amino acids)
  • Gut health and digestive function
  • Hormone levels and imbalances
  • Toxins (heavy metals, oxidative stress)
  • Mitochondrial function
  • Neurotransmitter imbalances
  • Adrenal stress and fatigue

From there, we create an individualized plan with actionable steps to restore balance, which may include dietary changes, detoxification, stress reduction, and more.

What is Integrative Medicine?

  • Certified Practitioner, The Institute for Functional Medicine
  • Integrative Medicine Fellowship Graduate, Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine
  • Fully Licensed Physician
  • On time Appointments
  • A Caring, Patient Centered Environment
  • Holistic Based Care

Integrative Medicine blends the best of both conventional and alternative approaches to healthcare. It combines cutting-edge Western medical techniques (such as advanced diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and surgeries) with the gentle, holistic practices of Eastern medicine. This approach empowers patients to be active participants in their healing process.

Unlike traditional methods that primarily focus on managing symptoms, Integrative Medicine aims to uncover the root causes of your health issues. By addressing the underlying problems, you can experience lasting relief rather than temporary fixes.

With Integrative Medicine, we focus on personalized care. We recognize that every patient is unique and, as such, we avoid the “one-size-fits-all” approach. We work with you to create a tailored treatment plan that incorporates the best of modern science and natural healing methods.

Key Principles of Integrative Medicine

  • Root-Cause Focus: Instead of merely masking symptoms, we aim to identify the underlying causes of your health concerns, empowering you to heal naturally.
  • Comprehensive Care: We utilize a whole-body approach, addressing physical, emotional, and environmental factors that may contribute to your health.
  • Personalized Treatment: Every treatment plan is uniquely designed for you, based on advanced testing and individual needs.
  • Collaboration and Empowerment: We focus on building a partnership with you to help you actively engage in your healing journey.

How It Works:

We begin with longer consultations to get a full understanding of your health, using advanced tests to measure things like blood chemistry, hormone levels, gut health, and more. We combine the latest in biochemical testing with holistic treatment methods, such as:

  • Dietary changes
  • Meditation and mindfulness
  • Restorative sleep promotion
  • Herbal medicine
  • Nutritional supplementation
  • Movement plans
